Product Categories

The Department of Tourism maintains a system of categories to manage standards, licensing and promote cohesive tourism offerings which will be expected from visitors to our shores. The three primary categories of tourism products, as determined by the Department of Tourism, are Accommodation, Activities and Transportation. Please visit the corresponding page for each category for further information regarding the type of license required. Simplification of the standards system as it relates to tourism categories is under review and further information on this is forthcoming.
